Our Family, Japan, & PAZ

Ben, Debbie, Isabella, & Evelyn Block

Our Family

We were married in Michigan at Cornerstone Church where we attended and served at for almost 7 years. Ben joined the staff as the intern director, was ordained a pastor, and finished his time there as the Youth Pastor. During this time Debbie became a Licensed Social Worker and helped many children and families with her services while also being very involved at church. While in Michigan the Lord blessed them with two beautiful girls, Isabella and Evelyn. They have a great love for the local church and a desire to see many more churches planted!

In 2010 Ben felt God call him to the nations. Since then Ben and Debbie have gone on many short term missions trips. The timing is finally right for our family to move to Japan in a long term capacity. We're not entirely sure how long it will be or all that God has for us there but we have faith for God to use us in a great way and are excited for what's to come. Several years ago Ben felt God leading him to join the vision of Project AmaZon (PAZ). PAZ has already planted over 800 churches including several in Japan. The need is great there and we are willing to go help them find true life and purpose in Jesus Christ.

PAZ (Project AmaZon)

PAZ (which means "peace" in Portuguese) was founded by Debbie's uncle about 40 years ago in the amazon basin of Brazil. Since then they have planted over 800 churches throughout Brazil and the world. We felt God leading us to join them and their vision of seeing 100,000 churches planted for the glory of God. Our hope is to run with this vision and see churches multiplied in Japan and throughout the world. PAZ is the missions organization we are a part of.
